Jakarta, April 16th 2020 - In the middle of the Covid-19 outbreak, many people felt difficulties especially in terms of the economy. Therefore, PT. Asuransi Adira Dinamika Tbk through its sharia business unit - Adira Insurance Sharia organized a food distribution program, named Adira Insurance Peduli Sesama, aimed to pre-prosperous families whose economy was affected by the Covid-19. This program is implemented by Adira Insurance Sharia in cooperation with Lembaga Amil Rumah Zakat, and was started on Thursday, April 9th 2020.
Auralusia Rimadiana (Ima), Adira Insurance's Chief Agency Officer emphasized, "Adira Peduli Sesama is carried out as a form of company contribution, spesifically Adira Insurance Sharia, in easing the burden on people whose daily income is affected by the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia."
Adira Peduli Sesama was held in Jakarta and Bogor because both regions had the highest number of positive Covid-19 patients and the number of pre-prosperous families whose economies were affected by Covid-19 outbreak. "The impact of Covid-19 on the economy of pre-prosperous families is enormous, especially in the Jakarta area which imposes a Large-Scale Social Limitation (PSBB) coinciding when we distribute the food packages," Ima said.
Adira Insurance Sharia and Rumah Zakat prioritized pre-prosperous families, single mothers, marbots (mosque keepers), and small traders as beneficiaries of this program. The distribution process was handled through local stakeholder to the community while still implementing the social restrictions protocol recommended by the Government.

Adira Insurance Sharia has a post-disaster relief program as a company contributions in the welfare of the nation's life, especially in easing the difficulties or suffering after disaster.
